Earth Day 2022
Earth Day was started in 1970, after a devastating oil spill in America brought environmental issues to the forefront of public consciousness. SAQF would like to continue to improve our habitat by reducing erosion in the Coronado National Forest.

Restoration Work
The project you will be assisting with is a project funded jointly by the National Forest Foundation and SAQF to improve the quail habitat. The Watershed Crew for Borderlands Restoration will show you how to build rock structures to slow water flow, increase infiltration, trap sediment and establish vegetation —this process mitigates on-site erosion.
